A simple world back in the 1940's to Early 1960's. We would use our 32's Monday thru Friday as a daily driver then come Saturday & Sunday we would take them to the race tracks:
It took one hour to:
Remove Carson top, windshield, & headlights.
Change differential gear, rear tires, & wheels.
Your Roadster was then ready for compeition for: Dry Lakes - Dirt Circle Track - Drag Racing
Then after all the racing was done and if you hadn't wrecked or broke something you put it all back together and it became your Monday thru Friday daily driver again (25 cents per gallon of gas).
Owners: Howard & Bobbie Welch, Couer d' Alene, Idaho
